Third-party processors
Elderbreaks.net uses a small number of third-party services to keep the site running: a hosting provider that stores the pages you are reading, an analytics tool that counts anonymous page views and an affiliate network that measures whether a reader signed up on the Elderbreaks side after clicking through. Each of those providers processes only the data described in its own policy; we do not share reader email or contact details with them.
How we use the data
Data we collect is used for three narrow purposes: keeping the site available and free of abuse, understanding which review pages readers find useful and reporting affiliate performance to the operator's network. It is not used to build a profile of an individual reader, is not sold to third parties and is not shared with data brokers. We do not run retargeting or behavioural advertising.
What we collect
The server logs standard request data — IP address, browser string, referrer, page requested and timestamp — which is retained for up to thirty days for security and fraud prevention. Analytics counts page views, entry and exit paths and a rough country signal, without a persistent identifier. Readers who mail the editorial desk have their message stored in a mailbox until the thread is closed and then archived for one year.

Requests to access, correct or delete personal data held by the site should be sent to privacy@elderbreaks.net. We answer within thirty days and, where the data is genuinely ours to remove, act on the request in the same window. Complaints about how the request was handled can be taken to the reader's local supervisory authority — the FTC in the United States, or the equivalent regulator abroad.
